Description
Pin up to three real webpage elements to the viewport while the rest of the page keeps scrolling. Viewport Magnet lets you temporarily pull a useful element out of the document flow and keep it visible while you continue scrolling the page. Activate Magnet Mode from the toolbar or with Alt+Shift+M, move the pointer over a suitable page block, and click to pin it. The selected DOM element remains the real element rather than being converted to an image, so ordinary controls such as links, buttons, inputs, and media can continue to work according to the webpage's own behavior. Each pinned element receives a small drag handle. Drag the handle and release near the top, right, bottom, or left edge to snap the element into place. A layout placeholder preserves the element's original space in the document. Up to three elements can be pinned at once. Use the close control on a handle to release an element back into normal page flow. Viewport Magnet keeps its state only in the current page session. It does not create an account, retain pinned elements between reloads, record page content, use analytics, or make network requests. Normal inline style changes made by the webpage while an element is pinned are preserved when the extension releases it.
