Description
Play Sonic the Hedgehog offline in a focused popup, with a local Ring Run mini-game and verified Genesis controls. Play the packaged Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis adventure from a focused Chrome popup. The original game is the default experience. Its compatible runtime and required game files are included inside the extension, so play does not depend on downloading a game core while it runs. Use the built-in Guide for the verified keyboard map: arrow keys move, `S`, `X`, or `Z` jump and spin attack, and `Enter` starts or pauses. For a Spin Dash, hold Down, tap a jump key, then release Down. Restart begins a fresh session of the active mode. The secondary Ring Run tab is a locally written HTML5 mini-game. Collect rings, avoid badniks, and reach the signpost. It is a short optional challenge and does not replace the original game. Favorite is session-only. The extension does not request Chrome permissions, change browser settings, inject into websites, or read browsing activity. Share and navigation actions open only when selected by the user.
