LexiDay notices the moment you actually USE it. ONE WORD A DAY — A new word every morning with its definition and a real example sentence, from a curated list of 475. The toolbar badge shows NEW until you have used it. POINTS FOR REAL USAGE — Type today's word anywhere on the web (an email, a chat message, a comment) and LexiDay notices: points, a streak, a celebration. Reusing words from previous days earns more. Words only count inside real sentences, so there is no gaming it. SPELLING SUPPORT — A 46,000-word dictionary flags misspellings as you type and suggests the closest real word, with a one-click fix. Capitalized words are treated as names and left alone. GRAMMAR SUPPORT — Built-in rules catch common slips (should of, he don't, a apple, then/than, loose/lose, its/it's) entirely on your device. An optional LanguageTool integration adds engine-grade checking when you pause typing; it is off by default and clearly labeled. QUIZZES, STREAKS, RANKS — A daily definition quiz resurfaces words on a spaced-repetition schedule. Build streaks, track your best, and climb from Novice to Sesquipedalian. PRIVATE BY DESIGN — Everything runs on your device. What you type is matched locally against a bundled word list and is never stored or transmitted. No account, no server, no analytics. The only exception is the optional LanguageTool toggle, which is off by default and explains exactly what it sends before you enable it.
