Use Gravatar profile images and links for senders in webmail. Gravatar Inbox makes sender identities easier to recognize in Gmail and Outlook.com by showing public Gravatar images next to messages and in supported contact cards. The extension: - shows a sender's Gravatar image when one is available; - keeps the original avatar visible when no Gravatar image exists; - preserves the webmail site's native avatar and contact interactions; and - adds a separate external-link button for opening the sender's public Gravatar profile. Click the extension icon to enable or disable Gmail and Outlook.com independently. To load a public avatar, each email address is normalized and converted to a SHA-256 identifier locally; only that identifier is sent to Gravatar in an HTTPS image request. Raw email addresses are not sent to the extension developer or Gravatar. Currently supported sites: - Gmail (`mail.google.com`), including contact hovercard avatars; and - Outlook.com (`outlook.live.com`), including message sender avatars and Live Persona Cards.
