Tracking Parameter Cleaner is a lightweight and efficient privacy protection tool that automatically detects and removes various tracking parameters from webpage URLs, keeping your browsing address clean. The extension automatically scans page URLs for tracking parameters, including: 🔴 Facebook Click ID (fbclid) 🔴 Google Ads Parameters (gclid) 🔴 UTM series parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) 🔴 Microsoft Ads Parameters (msclkid) 🔴 Instagram Share ID (igshid) 🔴 Twitter Click ID (twclid) When these parameters are detected, the extension silently updates the address bar, removing all tracking parameters. The page does not reload, and your browsing experience is completely unaffected. All cleanup operations are performed locally, without sending any data to external servers. The extension also displays a green number badge on the browser toolbar icon, recording the cumulative number of tracking parameters cleaned. Click the extension icon to view detailed statistics and cleanup records, including the time, URL, and specific parameter names for each cleanup. Developed based on Manifest V3, with streamlined permissions, it only requests local storage permissions and does not collect any user data.
