Local, privacy-first JSON, CSV, and image utilities. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is ever uploaded. Private Browser Tools is a toolbar companion for three everyday file/data tasks — with a hard guarantee: nothing you paste, drop, or select ever leaves your device. No servers, no uploads, no accounts, no tracking. JSON tool Paste JSON to pretty-print it, minify it, or validate it. Errors point to the exact line and column, so malformed JSON is easy to fix. One click copies the result. CSV ⇄ JSON Paste or drag-drop a CSV or JSON file and convert either direction. Quoted fields, commas inside quotes, and multi-line values are all handled correctly — not just naive comma-splitting. Copy the result or download it as a file. Image resize & convert Drag-drop or choose an image, resize it to an exact width/height (with a keep-aspect-ratio toggle), and convert it to WebP, JPG, or PNG. Quick presets are built in for common sizes (Instagram square, Instagram portrait, LinkedIn banner, Open Graph image). Everything runs through the Canvas API in memory — the file is never transmitted anywhere. Why it's actually private No host permissions, no access to your tabs or browsing. Only two permissions are requested: storage (for saving local UI preferences) and downloads (so the "download result" buttons work). Strict Content Security Policy — no remote or injected code. No analytics, no telemetry, no network calls involving anything you paste or upload. This extension is a companion to privatebrowsertools.com, which offers the same local-first philosophy with additional bulk/batch tools for larger jobs.
