Highlight text across pages, collect it, and send it to your AI chat as one prompt. Stop losing your place between five tabs and a chat window. You're reading three articles, a PDF summary someone sent you, and a forum thread — and you want to ask an AI to compare all of it. The usual way is exhausting: copy from tab one, paste, copy from tab two, paste again, lose track of what you already sent, forget what you wanted to ask in the first place. PikRow turns that into one motion: highlight as you go, then send everything at once. HOW IT WORKS Select any text on any page. A small color bar appears. Pick a color, and the text does one of three things, depending on how you've set that color up: • Collect — the text goes into your cart instead of being sent anywhere. Keep highlighting across as many pages, tabs, and articles as you want. Nothing is sent until you decide it's time. • Send to chat — skips the cart entirely and drops the text straight into the input box of your open AI chat, ready to send. • Archive — files the text away under a category you choose, for reference you'll want later rather than a conversation you're having right now. When your cart has what you need, open the side panel. You'll see every card you collected, in order, with the page it came from. Reorder them, delete the ones you don't need, add a quick instruction, and send the whole cart as a single prompt — instead of five separate copy-pastes and a chat that's already three messages deep before you've asked your real question. COLORS THAT CARRY INSTRUCTIONS Each color isn't just a highlighter — it's a rule. Set your purple to always carry "Translate this to English," and every purple highlight you make from now on arrives at the AI chat already grouped under that instruction. Set another color to "Summarize in three bullet points." Build a small set of colors around the handful of things you ask AI to do most often, and stop retyping the same instruction every time. A FEW WAYS PEOPLE USE IT • Research: highlight the key claim from five different sources in one color, send them together, and ask the AI to compare them. • Studying: collect definitions and examples from a textbook page and a set of lecture notes, then ask for a summary that ties them together. • Reading in a second language: highlight a paragraph, send it straight to chat with your "translate" color, keep reading without switching tabs. • Writing: archive quotes and sources as you find them across a week of research, then pull up the archive when you actually sit down to write. STICKY NOTES Sometimes you don't want to send anything anywhere — you just want to leave yourself a note next to a specific sentence. PikRow lets you attach a note directly to a highlight. Come back to that page next week, and the note is still there, exactly where you left it. THE SIDE PANEL This is where your cart and your archive live. From here you can: • See everything you've collected, grouped and reordered • Search your archive by keyword • Export everything to Markdown, free and with no limit — your notes are never locked inside the extension • Adjust your colors, their instructions, and their keyboard shortcuts WORKS WITH THE AI CHAT YOU ALREADY USE PikRow works with all popular AI chat platforms. PikRow finds your open chat tab and writes into it directly — you don't need to switch extensions when you switch AI tools. PRIVACY, IN PLAIN TERMS PikRow has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics of any kind. Every highlight, note, and setting is stored locally on your own device. We cannot see what you highlight, what pages you visit, or what you send to an AI chat — there is no PikRow server for that information to go to. The only time your text leaves your computer is when you send it to an AI chat yourself, and at that point it's handled by that service under its own privacy policy. One honest limitation: Chrome's built-in PDF viewer draws PDF pages as images rather than real text, so highlighting doesn't work inside it. That's a limitation of how Chrome displays PDFs, not a bug in PikRow, and PikRow will tell you so if you try. A FEW QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK Does this cost anything? PikRow is free to use, with generous limits on colors and archive size. A paid tier exists for people who want more colors and a much larger archive. Do I need an account? No. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into. Will it work on the site I use most? PikRow works on any website. Sending text to an AI chat is supported for the platforms listed above; if yours isn't listed yet, the highlighting and collecting still work everywhere.
