What is special is that the Barringtonia flowers hang down in clusters of bright red/orange, hanging down like soft flower curtains, creating a unique and graceful beauty. The tree trunk is large, the bark is rough, the base of the tree shows signs of being many years old. The surrounding landscape is a garden with a fence and gate, evoking a sense of peace, close to the countryside or a quiet living space.
