See which makeup shades are YAY, OKAY, or NAY for your color season while you shop online. Shop makeup with confidence. TruHue shows you, at a glance, which lipsticks, foundations, blushes, eyeshadows, and every other beauty product match YOUR personal color season — right on the product pages where you're already shopping. HOW IT WORKS Pick your color season in the extension popup (Light Spring, True Summer, Deep Autumn — all twelve). Then shop as you normally would. TruHue reads each shade's actual color (not just its marketing name) and shows a small badge: YAY — great match, flatters your palette OKAY — wearable, not your best NAY — likely to clash, skip it You'll see colored dots on every individual swatch so you can scan a product page and pick the right shade in seconds. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most color-analysis tools ask you to type in a shade name. That falls apart on names like "Whimsical," "Seductress," or "Champion" — beauty brands invent names that don't describe colors. TruHue samples the actual pixel color from each swatch image, so it works regardless of how creative the name is. The scoring matches the TruHue mobile app exactly, so your widget results align with your full color analysis. WHERE IT WORKS TruHue works on major beauty retailer websites and direct-to-consumer brand stores. Selectors are tuned to each site's product page layout, and we add support for new sites regularly. PRIVACY TruHue runs entirely in your browser. Your season selection is stored in Chrome's sync storage so it's consistent across your devices. No shopping data, browsing history, product URLs, or personal information is ever sent to any server. The extension does not use analytics or tracking. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE TruHue is built by a mom-and-daughter team. When you click through to a product from a page the extension is running on, we may add an affiliate tag so we receive a small commission if you buy.
