Bridge Google Maps and Naver for Myeongdong restaurants. Open Naver reviews and menus in one click — no Korean search needed. Open in Naver — Myeongdong Food is designed for use with Google Maps™ to help foreign travelers researching restaurants in Seoul's Myeongdong district find the same restaurant on Naver Map, Korea's most trusted local review platform, in one click. Google Maps™ is often the first stop when planning a trip to Korea, but many of the reviews, menus, and photos that locals actually rely on live on Naver, not Google. Bridging the two usually means manually retyping the restaurant name in Korean and searching again, then guessing which of several similarly-named results is the right one. This extension removes that friction. While browsing a Google Maps™ page for one of 30 curated Myeongdong restaurants, a small button appears. Click it, and the same restaurant opens instantly on Naver Map, no typing, no guessing which listing is correct. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension (no account, no setup). 2. Browse restaurants in Myeongdong on Google Maps™ as you normally would. 3. If the restaurant is one of our 30 curated spots, a button appears on the listing. 4. Click it to open the exact same restaurant on Naver Map in a new tab, where you can read local reviews, browse photos, and see the real menu. Each restaurant pairing was individually verified using official address data (not just name matching) to make sure every link points to the correct location, including restaurants with multiple branches. More restaurants and areas may be added in future updates. PRIVACY The extension does not collect personal information and does not require an account or login.
