Slop Squash flags posts, pictures and comments that look AI-made while you scroll. Tap the squash to see what raised the flag. Your feed is full of slop. Squash it. Slop Squash checks the posts, pictures and comments on the pages you visit for signs of AI generation. When something is likely synthetic, a small circle with a bouncing squash appears on it. Tap the circle and it explains the evidence, in plain words. A flag is a best guess, not a verdict: you can say "Not AI" on any of them. What it looks at Content Credentials (C2PA) that generators attach to their output, and SynthID watermarks where a verifier exists. Generator classifiers that attribute an image to a generator even after a platform has stripped its metadata. Everyone sees cached classifier verdicts; Pro runs them on demand. Community reports, pooled by content hash so a post checked once is known everywhere. Privacy The extension talks only to api.slopsquash.com. With network detection on, it sends the text of the posts and comments it analyses and the URLs of images; our API fetches each image to read its provenance metadata and check for watermarks. It never sends page URLs (only the hostname), browsing history, form fields or screenshots. Text and image files are not stored; only a content hash and its verdict are cached.
