Summarize any web page in one click and ask follow-up questions about it, right in Chrome's side panel. Précis gives you the essence of any page. Open Précis beside an article, a report or a long blog post, and it reads the page for you. One click turns the page into a short summary in clear bullet points, streamed in as it is written. Then ask follow-up questions and get answers drawn from the page you are reading. FEATURES • One-click summaries: concise bullet points that start appearing within seconds. • Follow-up questions: ask about anything on the page and keep the conversation going. • Think deeper: switch it on for a harder question, and Précis reasons it through before answering. • One chat per tab: each tab keeps its own conversation. Close the panel and reopen it, and your chat is still there. • Stays in sync: when the page changes, Précis notices and lets you start a new chat or keep going. • Light and dark: follows your system theme. HOW TO USE 1. Click the Précis icon in the toolbar to open the side panel. 2. Sign in with the Google account you use in Chrome. 3. Click "Summarize this page", then ask anything you like. PRIVACY • Précis reads a page only in tabs where you have opened it. • The pages you read, your questions and the answers are never stored on our servers. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your data is never sold. • Chats live in your browser's temporary storage and are deleted when you close the tab, after 30 minutes without activity, or when you start a new chat. Full privacy policy: https://tenlhak.github.io/precis/privacy/ GOOD TO KNOW • A Google sign-in is required. • Précis reads only what your browser shows. It does not get around paywalls. • Some pages can't be read, such as Chrome's own pages and the Chrome Web Store. • Summaries and answers are written by AI (Kimi, by Moonshot AI) and can contain mistakes. Check anything important against the page. Questions or feedback: aiheadshotx@gmail.com
