Export Discord DMs and channels to a Markdown or HTML transcript using your own session — no token paste, no bot setup. StudioAI Chat Exporter saves your Discord conversations to a file on your computer. It works with any Discord channel or DM you can see — pick a starting message and an ending message, click a button, and a Markdown or HTML file downloads. No bot to add to your server. No token to paste. No paywall. How to use it 1. Open Discord in Chrome and click the StudioAI Chat Exporter icon 2. A side panel opens with two paste-fields 3. Right-click your starting message in Discord → "Copy Message Link", paste it in the first field 4. Right-click your ending message → "Copy Message Link", paste it in the second field 5. Pick Markdown or HTML 6. Click Export — the file downloads to your usual Downloads folder What's in the export - All messages in the range, in chronological order (oldest first) - Author names, timestamps, message content, edit timestamps - Clickable links to any attachments referenced in the messages (the files themselves stay on Discord's CDN) What's NOT in the export - The attachment files themselves (just the links to them on Discord) - Reactions, embed previews, thread context Privacy This extension operates entirely on your own computer. Your messages, your account, your session — none of it ever touches the developer's servers, because there are no developer servers. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.
