Turn the job posting you are reading into an AutoCV application. Reading a job posting you want to apply to? Click the AutoCV icon and the posting becomes an application in your AutoCV account — the employer, the role and the language read out of the page, the full text saved with it. From there, AutoCV writes the documents: a CV tailored to that posting from your own career data, and a cover letter addressed to that employer that matches the CV it ships with. Every document is yours to edit, restyle and download as Word, PDF or plain text. WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES • Captures the job posting on the page you are reading, in one click • Reads the employer, the role and the language out of it, so you never retype them • Lets you pick which of your CVs to tailor — or write a new one — and whether a cover letter comes along • Downloads the finished documents without leaving the popup, or opens the application in AutoCV • Lets you change the chosen CV later, without losing anything • Recognises a posting you already captured instead of duplicating it WHAT AUTOCV DOES WITH IT • Writes a CV tailored to the posting, from career data you imported once • Writes a cover letter that cannot contradict the CV it is sent with • Five CV styles with preview, multiple languages, Word/PDF/HTML/text export AutoCV needs an account at autocv.online. Capturing a posting works on every plan, including the free one; what a paid plan buys is a bigger monthly allowance for the documents written from it. After installing, open autocv.online/settings/extension and press Authorize once — the extension gets its own key instead of using the website's cookies, and you can revoke it from that same page whenever you want. AutoCV never scrapes LinkedIn and never applies on your behalf: you review everything before anyone else sees it. Your career data belongs to you: export it or delete your account at any time.
