Finds the right PDF, image or converter tool, and formats JSON, decodes JWT and Base64 in the panel. Nothing is uploaded. Prathom Workbench finds the right online tool — PDF, image, file converter, calculator or text utility — and runs the text and developer ones in the panel. Type what you want to do — "compress pdf", "jpeg to png", "format json" — and the workbench ranks Prathom's catalogue of 300 utilities and opens the one you need. Select text on any page, right-click, and it carries across into the tool, so you are not pasting it twice. THE RANKING HAPPENS ON YOUR DEVICE. The catalogue is stored inside the extension and searched here, with the same scoring the website uses. No keystroke, no address and no selection is sent anywhere to produce a recommendation. That is not a policy — it is how it is built, and the permission list is the proof: the extension can talk to prathom.ai and to nothing else on the internet. TWENTY-THREE TEXT AND DEVELOPER TOOLS RUN IN THE PANEL, with no upload and no round trip: base64, URL and HTML encoding, JSON formatting, case conversion, timestamps, slugs, UUIDs, word and character counts, JWT decoding, line sorting and deduplication, line-break removal, whitespace cleaning, text reversal, email and URL extraction, word frequency, password generation, regex testing, find-and-replace, and text diff. THE TWO THAT MATTER MOST ARE THE TWO YOU SHOULD NEVER PASTE INTO A WEBSITE. A JWT is usually a live session, and a password is only yours until something else has seen it. Both are decoded and generated inside the panel, on your machine. The generated password is not even kept in the panel's own history. ON BANKING, HEALTH, GOVERNMENT, WEBMAIL AND PASSWORD-MANAGER SITES it does not look at the tab at all, and you can add any other site to that list. Everything is free. Tools that need a server — file conversion, image work, PDFs — open on prathom.ai, where they have always been free to use. HOW TO USE IT • Click the toolbar icon to open the workbench. The tools that run inside it are listed there, so you can start without knowing a name. • Or type "pr" in the address bar, then what you need. • Or select text on a page, right-click, and choose "Ask Prathom". • Or paste. A token, a JSON document, an SVG, a cron line, a timestamp, encoded text or a list of addresses is recognised for what it is, and the right tool is picked for you.
