START IMMEDIATELY Open a supported YouTube video and use four keys. No subtitle files, Anki setup, or complicated learning workflow required. LISTEN ONE SENTENCE AT A TIME • A — Repeat the current sentence. Press again to go back one sentence. • S — Cycle captions: hidden → original → original + translation. • D — Exit repeat mode, or jump to the next sentence. • E — Switch playback speed: 1× → 0.8× → 0.6×. Train your ear in a repeatable loop: listen first, check what you heard, then move on. UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU HEAR • Click any caption word for UK/US pronunciation, definitions, and examples. • Translate captions into Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Portuguese, or Arabic. • Automatic NoSub dictionary fallback when a public lookup is slow or unavailable. MADE FOR REAL-WORLD ENGLISH • Practice with authentic YouTube videos instead of scripted lesson audio. • English and Simplified Chinese interface. • Choose interface language independently from caption translation language. • Set a preferred English caption track and starting subtitle view. • Pause NoSub or open the full settings page from the toolbar popup.
