Answer a few questions about marriage, children, and surviving relatives, and the tool illustrates who inherits, and in what shares, under Prob. Code § 6400 et seq. It is built for anyone who wants a plain, visual answer to "what happens to my property if I don't have a will," including people who are just starting to think about estate planning and people who want a quick way to see what an intestate estate looks like before deciding whether to make a will or trust. It covers California law only. Other states differ substantially, and most are not community property states at all. This extension collects nothing and transmits nothing. It requests no access to any website. It makes no network requests. It contains no analytics, no tracking, and no error reporting.
