Read the job posting open in your tab: how you match, what is missing, and the questions it will ask. Prep Room reads the job posting you are already looking at. Open a posting and the panel tells you how it reads against your resume, which skills it names that your resume does not, and the questions it is likely to ask. On the major job boards this happens on its own. Anywhere else, select the posting text, right-click, and send it over. WHAT IT DOES Reads the posting on the page you are on: automatically on the job boards it supports, and from a selection you send on any other page. Shows how the posting reads against your resume, and which of the skills it names are missing from yours. Interview prep: the questions the posting is likely to ask, drawn from a bank of real interview questions rather than written on the spot. Drafts a cover letter grounded in your own resume, and saves the posting so tailoring your resume on the site starts from it. Keeps the posting in Your Jobs, where the rest of Prep Room can use it. Practice: ten questions chosen for the work you actually do, with Done and Not for me, so the set is always yours. More jobs: the top of your matched board, with Applied and Not for me, so a posting you have dealt with never comes back. WHAT IT READS The extension reads the page you have open, and only in two situations: on the job boards it supports, or on any other page after you ask it to. You need a free Prep Room account for the panel to match a posting to your resume. Reading a posting and seeing a few likely questions works without one.
