HOW IT WORKS Cutter attaches a tiny audio analyser (Web Audio API) to any HTML5 <video> on the page. The moment the sound drops below your threshold, playback speeds up. The moment someone speaks again, it snaps back to 1×. All of this happens inside the browser tab — nothing is sent to any server. PRIVACY For the basic skip, Cutter sends nothing anywhere. For the optional smart trim on YouTube, the extension shares only the public YouTube video ID — never your audio or video data.
