Read your Foothold questions and projects in a side panel, then copy selected context into the AI tools you use. Keep the context behind an important question close at hand. Foothold context opens your connected Foothold questions and projects in a browser side panel. Read your current thinking, revisit supporting notes, and copy a selected summary into the AI tool you choose. • Find connected questions and projects with search. • Select the context you want to carry into another conversation. • Read structured thinking and available supporting source passages. • Preview the summary before copying it. • Open Brain dump in Foothold to capture a new thought. You control the connection. In Foothold, choose the questions or projects the extension may access and create a connection key. Paste that key into the extension to connect. Disconnect clears the key from this browser session; removing the connection in Foothold revokes future access everywhere. The extension reads from Foothold. It does not read your browsing history or conversations on other websites, and it does not automatically insert or send messages into an AI chat. You decide where to paste copied context. A Foothold account is required. Account features and any paid plan requirements are described at footholdapp.com. Browsing and copying context with this extension does not consume Foothold AI credits. Other AI services may charge for their own use. Available for desktop Chrome and compatible Chromium browsers, including Brave. The connection key is stored for the current browser session; reconnect after restarting the browser or an extension update.
