Tags Bible references on any page — click to open, hover to preview. PassagePeek finds Bible references on any web page — John 3:16, Romans 8:28–30, 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 — and turns them into clickable links with hover tooltips, so you can read the verse without leaving the page. Why install it? If you read sermons, commentaries, study notes, or theology blogs, you've felt the friction of constantly switching tabs to look up a reference. PassagePeek eliminates that friction. Hover a reference and the verse appears instantly, right where you're reading. Four providers: - Logos RefTagger (default) — official Logos tagger with 16 translations - BibleGateway — 140+ translations and languages - ESV Crossref — official ESV.org cross-reference tool - Built-in — lightweight, works on pages that block third-party scripts Automatic fallback: if a provider's script is blocked by a page's Content Security Policy, PassagePeek silently switches to its built-in tooltip — tagging always works. Works everywhere: single-page apps and infinite-scroll feeds are supported. New content is tagged automatically as it loads. Quick toolbar controls: toggle the extension, disable it on the current site, or switch providers with one click — no need to open settings. Privacy-first: no analytics, no tracking. Settings stay on your device. Network requests are only made to fetch verse text when you hover a reference.
