This extension cleans it up and sharpens it while you watch, right in your browser, using your own computer's graphics card. Nothing gets uploaded, there's no sign-up, and it's completely free. Developed by one student, if there is any issues please feel free to report them in the extension settings. WHAT IT DOES A lot of web video is low-resolution and heavily compressed, so it ends up looking soft, blocky, or fuzzy. This tool cleans that up in real time and sharpens the picture, so low-quality video looks a lot clearer while it's playing. It's honest about what it does. It genuinely makes a better picture out of low-quality video, but it won't invent fake detail, and it leaves already-sharp video alone so it isn't working your computer for no reason. IT WON'T MAKE THINGS WORSE If a video is too much for your computer to keep up with, it quietly backs off and shows you the original, so playback always stays smooth. EASY TO USE Click the button on any video (or hit Alt+S) to turn it on. There's a settings panel where you can trade quality against how hard it works your graphics card, tweak the sharpness, compare before and after, or switch it off on certain sites. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens on your own computer. Your video never leaves your device, nothing is uploaded, and no data is collected.
