A calm new tab page that helps you start one thing today. Quick task list, daily focus line, nothing leaves your browser. Every new tab is a fresh start, so we made it count. Do The Thing replaces your new tab page with a calm, warm little workspace built for brains that get stuck. There is a quick task list for today, a "your one thing" focus line that highlights the single task that matters most, and a satisfying check-off when you finish something. If you ever open a tab and freeze, the focus line tells you exactly where to begin. What you get: - A quick-add task list for today, always one tab away - A focus line showing your "one thing today" (pick it yourself with the star, or it defaults to your first open task) - Satisfying check-offs and a gentle little celebration when you clear the whole list - Tasks carry over open items to the next day automatically, so nothing important gets silently dropped - Calm, warm design with zero clutter and zero noise Privacy, in plain words: Your tasks are saved only inside your own browser using Chrome's local storage. Nothing is collected, nothing is sent anywhere, no account needed. Uninstall the extension and your tasks go with it. Made by Do The Thing Studio. Built for people whose brains need a nudge, not a lecture.
