The blur persists across page reloads and even SPA navigation, so you never have to re-mark the same thing twice. Selectors are remembered per-domain, so a blur on gmail.com doesn't follow you to github.com. 🔦 GLOBAL SHIELD + FLASHLIGHT REVEAL (the everything-blur) One toggle blurs the entire page. But here's the trick: a clear "spotlight" follows your cursor, so you can read whatever you're hovering over without exposing the rest of the page. Perfect for reading sensitive documents in public — anyone glancing over your shoulder only sees the line you're actively reading. 📦 AREA SHIELDS (for non-standard content) Some things are hard to target with a click — embedded videos, canvas charts, account dashboards built from dozens of divs. Just drag a rectangle over the area and the extension drops a backdrop-blur shield over it. The extension never makes a single network request. • No accounts, no email collection, no PII. • No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party SDKs. • All settings stored in chrome.storage.local on YOUR machine. • Domain keys use hostname only — never full URLs or query strings. If you inspect this extension's network tab, you will see nothing. The content script only runs on tabs you actively visit. We have intentionally avoided requesting the "tabs" and "scripting" permissions to keep the footprint as small as possible.
