Export YouTube comments to CSV, JSON or Markdown. Filter by rule-based tags, process locally, and try without your own API key. Export YouTube comments to CSV, JSON or Markdown for your next review, spreadsheet or research project. YouTube Comment Miner fetches top-level comments, flags potentially risky patterns with local rules, and lets you browse the results by tag. GET STARTED WITHOUT YOUR OWN API KEY Paste a video link and click Fetch comments. The free shared key allows 5 fetches per day per installation, with 1 page of up to 100 comments per fetch, subject to API availability and shared quota. To explore the interface offline, click Try demo data to load 20 bundled sample comments. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Download comment text, authors, dates, like counts and reply counts in a CSV file for Excel or Google Sheets. • Choose Basic filter or Strict filter to flag promotional language, scam-like phrases, abusive wording and other predefined patterns. • Filter the on-screen table by tag to inspect matching comments. Exports include all comments from the current fetch, so you can apply your own spreadsheet filters afterward. • Export JSON with tags and rule-match details, or a Markdown table for your notes. • Review the exported comments yourself to look for recurring questions and feedback. Tags are rule matches, not automated audience insights or verdicts about a commenter. HOW IT WORKS 1. Paste a YouTube video URL or ID. 2. Choose a spam filter and click Fetch comments. 3. Browse the table or select a tag to narrow the preview. 4. Click Export CSV, Export JSON or Export Markdown to save a file. LOCAL PROCESSING Comment tagging and file generation happen in your browser. The extension does not upload comments or results to our servers. Fetch requests go directly to Google's YouTube Data API. If you add your own API key, it is stored in this browser and sent to Google for API requests. Cached results expire after 24 hours; Clear Cache removes them sooner. FETCH LIMITS • Only top-level comments are exported. Reply counts are included; reply text is not. • With your own YouTube Data API key, you can request up to 50 pages per fetch, with up to 100 comments per page. Your API quota still applies. • Comments must be available through the API. Disabled comments, unavailable videos or quota limits can prevent a fetch. • A tag filter changes the preview, not the exported dataset. If a later page fails, the extension identifies the partial result and keeps the comments already collected.
