Paste a URL into the extension or right-click any link on a webpage, email, or online document. Link Guardian analyzes the address and presents a clear safety result so you can make a more informed decision before visiting it. Using the right-click menu places the selected link into the extension. The URL is not transmitted until you click “Check URL.” Link Guardian does not scan your browsing history, read webpage or email content, monitor your activity, display advertising, or sell personal information. Submitted URLs may be checked using VirusTotal, an independent third-party security service. Important safety notice: No security tool can guarantee that a website is completely safe. A clean result means Link Guardian did not identify a known threat or strong warning signal at the time of the scan. Newly created or previously unreported malicious websites may not yet be detected. When in doubt, avoid entering passwords, financial information, or other sensitive data into an unfamiliar website.
