Minimal side panel: every window and its tabs, always expanded, searchable. Lose track of your windows and tabs? Mini Tab Sidebar puts every window and every tab in one searchable panel — always expanded, always current. Press Ctrl+I, type a few letters, hit Enter. You're on the tab, whichever window it was hiding in. WHAT IT DOES • All windows and their tabs in one list, color-striped per window, updating live • Search across every window — titles and URLs, arrow keys + Enter, recently closed tabs included • Pins: one-click access to the sites you live in; jumps to the existing tab wherever it is, or opens it • Three ways to use it: side panel, spotlight-style dropdown under the toolbar icon, or a pop-out window you can park beside your dock (it remembers its size and position) • Duplicate finder: see which tabs are open twice, close the extras in one click • Tab hygiene: sleep a memory-hungry tab, mute a noisy one, middle-click to close, drag tabs between windows • Window nicknames and a tab-count badge on the toolbar icon WHAT IT DOESN'T DO No accounts. No servers. No analytics. No tracking. Everything stays in your browser — even favicons come from Chrome's local cache. The privacy policy is one paragraph because there's nothing to disclose. FOR TERMINAL PEOPLE (optional) An open-source local companion (desk-bar, on GitHub) can list your tmux terminal sessions in the same sidebar — searchable, grouped by ssh host, one click focuses the right terminal window. Linux + tmux. The extension works fully without it. TIP Chrome only allows side panels to open from a click or keyboard shortcut, so new windows start without the panel — press Ctrl+I, or use the pop-out for an always-visible bar.
