Expand or resize Google Calendar's all-day events strip so all-day events hidden behind the hourly grid become visible. See all your all-day events, not just the first few. In Google Calendar's Day and Week views, the all-day events strip at the top has a fixed maximum height. When several all-day events fall on the same day - holidays, PTO, multi-day trips, conferences, sprints - the extra ones get clipped and hidden behind the hourly grid below. You end up with a "+3 more" stub and no easy way to see everything at once. This extension fixes that with one click. Two ways to reveal your events without scrolling • Expand all-day area - removes the height cap so every all-day event is shown at once. Click again to restore the original layout. • Enable drag handle - adds a draggable grip on the border between the all-day strip and the hourly grid, so you can size the area to exactly what you want. The pane grows only as far as your events, so it always looks tidy. The two options are toggles and are mutually exclusive - turning one on turns the other off, and you can switch both off anytime. Remembers your choice Your last setting is saved and re-applied automatically every time Google Calendar loads, so it survives a page reload - set it once and forget it. Private by design The extension runs only on calendar.google.com. It makes a purely visual change to the page - it never reads your events, your account, or anything else, and it sends no data anywhere. Your preference is stored locally on your device. No tracking, no analytics, no external servers. How to use Open Google Calendar in Day or Week view. Click the extension icon in your toolbar. Choose "Expand all-day area" or "Enable drag handle." That's it. Lightweight, no setup, no account required.
