Skips, mutes, or blurs scenes on netflix.com live during playback, per your family's filter. Never records or saves any media. ParentFilter — skip, mute, blur for movie night. ParentFilter is a smart remote for family movie night. When a film starts on netflix.com, it looks the film up in your ParentFilter library — on your computer, so we never learn what you watch — and offers a guide: how many moments it lists, what it checked for, and where it came from. Nothing is filtered until you tap "Filter this film." While the film plays it skips, mutes, or blurs exactly the moments the guide lists, to your household's own settings: one tap picks a preset (Little kids, Big kids, Teens), and every category shows what it will actually do to THIS film — "6 blurred", "1 muted" — before you press play. A notice at the start of every filtered playback says the performance has been altered, and names the matched film so a wrong match is caught by a person. Playback-time only: nothing is recorded, saved, or exported, and no altered copy of any media is ever created. Works with a free ParentFilter account for hand-loaded filter files; the shared guide library is part of a subscription at parentfilter.app.
