Control your BananaVPN Windows connection directly from Chrome. BananaVPN gives you quick access to your BananaVPN Windows connection directly from Google Chrome. Use the BananaVPN Chrome extension to control your installed BananaVPN Windows app without switching away from your browser. Connect or disconnect your VPN, select an available VPN server, check your current connection status, and view your BananaVPN account and plan information from the Chrome toolbar. REQUIRES BANANAVPN FOR WINDOWS This extension is a companion for the BananaVPN Windows desktop application. The BananaVPN Windows app must be installed on your computer for VPN connections to work. The Chrome extension communicates securely with the locally installed BananaVPN Windows application using Chrome Native Messaging. The Windows application creates and manages the actual system VPN connection. The extension does not create a separate browser-only VPN tunnel. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS BananaVPN for Chrome uses only the permissions required for its companion functionality. Native Messaging is used to communicate with the installed BananaVPN Windows application. Chrome local storage is used to remember extension interface preferences such as the last opened section. The extension does not request access to your browsing history, website content, browser tabs, cookies, or passwords. A BananaVPN account and an eligible BananaVPN service or subscription may be required to connect to VPN servers.
