A to-do list for today only. Set priorities, watch the progress bar, and keep a 30-day archive of what you finished. Most to-do apps turn into a backlog. Tasks from three weeks ago sit at the bottom of the list making you feel behind before you start. Daily Task Planner only holds today. At midnight the list is archived and you start clean. WHAT IT DOES - Add tasks with a priority of low, medium, or high. High-priority tasks sort to the top; completed tasks sink to the bottom. - A progress bar and a "3 / 7 done" counter update as you check things off. - Clear all completed tasks in one click. - At midnight your list is archived with the date, how many tasks it had, and how many you finished. The archive keeps the last 30 days. - Open the history panel to see each archived day, its completion percentage, and the individual tasks with the finished ones marked. Clearing history takes two clicks so you cannot wipe it by accident. - At 8am you get one notification asking what you want to get done — but only if your list is empty. If you already planned your day, it stays quiet. HOW THE DAY ROLLS OVER The archive is stamped with the day the task list actually belongs to, using your local calendar date, not UTC. If your computer was asleep at midnight, the rollover happens when Chrome next wakes and the day still gets filed under the correct date. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - No per-task due times, reminders, or recurring tasks. There is one notification, at 8am, and it only fires on an empty list. - No editing a task after you add it — delete it and add it again. - Today's list is the only list you can change. Archived days are read-only. - No sync between computers, and no import or export. PRIVACY This extension requests no access to any website. It cannot see the pages you visit, it has no content script, and it makes no network requests of any kind. Your tasks and your 30-day archive are stored in chrome.storage.local on your own computer. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Uninstalling the extension removes the data with it.
