Every paper’s citation graph on your toolbar — signed and inferred kept apart. AI-invented citations caught. Free, in your browser. CiteStamp puts the citation graph on your toolbar. On a paper page it finds the identifier and shows the paper's public citation record: human-signed claims and machine-inferred edges, never blended, plus replication outcomes coded by the FORRT Replication Database. One click opens the full interactive graph on citestamp.com. Claim your paper in the extension or at https://citestamp.com/claim. It also checks references. Run a citation-health check on a reference list: which references resolve to a real work, which come back as a weak match you should confirm by hand, and which the publisher has marked retracted. A watchlist re-checks the works you care about every day and tells you when a retraction lands. The check runs in your browser and talks directly to Crossref, DataCite and OpenAlex. Your reference list is never sent to our server; citestamp.com sees only the paper's identifier, for the graph lookup. The graph is open (CC0) and separates signed claims from machine-inferred ones, so you can always see who said what. Free. No account needed. Sign in with ORCID only if you want to claim your own work. Works with Zotero (separate plugin at citestamp.com/get), Google Docs and Word. For AI assistants there is a hosted MCP server at https://mcp.citestamp.com/mcp, no key needed; client setup at github.com/citestamp/mcp. Source: github.com/citestamp/chrome-extension
