Description
A calm new tab with a bold clock, Markdown tasks, favorite links, and your own wallpaper. Still replaces your Chrome new tab with a customizable clock, search, favorite links, wallpapers, and Markdown tasks and notes. A new tab that feels like yours • A bold Inter clock with adjustable weight, optional seconds, and 12/24-hour formats. • Search with Google, Baidu, Bing, or your Chrome default search engine. Open website addresses directly, or use yt and gh prefixes for YouTube and GitHub. • Keep up to eight favorite websites within reach. • Choose an included wallpaper, enable the online curated collection, use an image URL, upload a local photo, or select a gradient. Adjust darkness, blur, and saturation. • Filter wallpapers by category, save favorites, switch randomly, enable daily rotation, or lock the current wallpaper. Tasks and notes, one click away • Keep Today, Work, Life, and Quick notes separate. • Add tasks or notes, check off completed items, and collapse the Completed section. • Write Markdown headings and checkboxes, then switch between the task view and Markdown editor. • Automatic saving, local note history, Markdown export, and JSON backup and restore. English and Simplified Chinese Choose your language or follow the browser language on each device. Keyboard shortcuts • / focuses search. • Ctrl+K or Cmd+K focuses search when Chrome forwards the shortcut to the page. • Q opens quick task entry when you are not typing in a field. • Escape closes an open panel. Storage and privacy Small settings and note documents use Chrome storage.sync. Cross-device delivery depends on your Chrome sync settings and requires the same extension on each device. Uploaded wallpaper images and note history remain on the device; local photos are not uploaded to a Still cloud service. The online wallpaper collection is optional and downloads public images from Still's GitHub Pages. Search requests go to the chosen search provider, and custom wallpaper URLs load from their hosting websites. No separate Still account is required. The extension contains no advertising or analytics code.
