There's no bold button on Facebook, LinkedIn, X or Instagram. This adds one - 15 text styles for any post, bio or comment. Ever wanted to make one line of a post 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝? There's no button for it. Post boxes only take plain text. This extension gets around that. Pick a word or a sentence, tap a style, and your letters are swapped for look-alike letters that are already bold, italic or curly. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤: the result is still just text. Not a font. Not a picture. Nothing the other website has to support. These four also get their character limits built in: • 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 - 63,206 characters, plus the toolbar inside the post box • 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 - 3,000 characters • 𝐗 - 280 characters • 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 - 2,200 characters 𝐗 is worth a heads-up: it counts every styled letter as two, so a styled post fills up the 280 limit twice as fast. The counter already knows this and shows you the real number, so your post isn't rejected when you hit send. Writing somewhere else? Just style your text and copy it. The counter is a bonus, not a limit. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒-𝐔𝐏𝐒 We'd rather tell you now than have you find out later. 1. Styled letters aren't really letters to a computer. Screen readers read them oddly, and Google doesn't recognise them as normal words. So they're great for a headline or one line you want to stand out - not for a whole post. 2. Four of the styles use rarer letters that some older phones don't include. On those phones your readers may see empty boxes instead. The extension marks those four styles so you can decide for yourself. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐂𝐘 • No sign-up. No account. No server. • No ads, no tracking, no analytics. • Nothing you type is ever sent anywhere. It all happens inside your browser, and it works even with the internet turned off. • Your draft is saved on your own computer, and the "Clear draft" button deletes it. It asks for exactly two things: • Saving your draft, so it's still there next time. • Access to facebook.com, so the toolbar can appear next to the post box. That's the whole list.
