A private, searchable archive of the pages you actually read — and a heads-up when one of them changes. Recall keeps a private, searchable copy of the pages you actually read — and tells you when one of them changes behind your back. WHAT IT DOES Keeps what you read, automatically. Stay with a page long enough to have genuinely read it and Recall stores its text. No clicking save, no tagging, no filing. Short pages, menus and search results are skipped. Search the words on the page, not just the title. Bookmarks only remember what a page was called. Recall searches the full text of everything you've read, so you can find that article six months later using a phrase you half-remember from inside it. Tells you when a page changes. Revisit a page you've already read and Recall compares it against your stored copy before you've finished scrolling. Pricing pages, terms of service, documentation, policies — you find out what moved instead of wondering whether something did. Shows you exactly what changed. Not "this page is different." A paragraph-by-paragraph comparison that narrows down to individual words, so a plan going from $9 to $14 shows you those two numbers rather than two rewritten paragraphs. Every version is kept, so you can walk back through a page's whole history. Watches the pages you care about. Mark any page as watched and Recall re-checks it in the background every few hours. PRIVACY Nothing leaves your browser. There is no server, no account, no sign-in and no analytics. Your archive is stored locally and you can export all of it to a JSON file at any time. Recall never captures a page you did not visit yourself. It automatically skips any page with a password field on it, any page whose HTML asks not to be archived, and anything on your blocklist — which covers webmail, chat and banking out of the box, and which you can edit. SETTINGS How long you must stay on a page before it counts as read. How far you must scroll. A minimum word count. A noise floor, so timestamps and view counters don't get reported as changes. How many versions to keep per page. The list of sites to never archive. Open source. Free. No ads, no upsell, no premium tier.
