Records console, memory and wasm-heap diagnostics from any site you grant access to, and auto-saves a bundle when a tab crashes. Tab Diagnostics records what a web-app tab was doing in the minutes before it broke, and saves it as a single zip file — without asking anyone to open DevTools. Point it at a site, and it keeps a rolling record: • Console output and uncaught errors — the last 4,000 entries, timestamped • Memory over time — JavaScript heap and total WebAssembly memory, sampled every 15 seconds • Network activity — method, URL, status, duration and size (metadata only; never bodies or headers) • Screen frames — a rolling one-minute JPEG buffer, the only useful record for canvas-rendered apps • Crash capture — if the tab dies, the bundle saves itself and a notification points at the file Everything lands in one standard .zip in your Downloads folder: JSON Lines logs you can grep, a memory series with a pre-computed growth summary, and the screenshots. PRIVACY Nothing is uploaded anywhere. There is no server, no account and no analytics. The extension ships with no access to any website — you grant one site at a time through Chrome's own prompt, and you can revoke it just as easily. URL query values that look like credentials are redacted before anything is recorded. TWO MODES Full mode attaches Chrome's debugger and captures everything above. Light mode records console, errors and coarse memory from inside the page instead — no debugging banner, and DevTools keeps working on the tab.
