Select any region of a page, or upload an image or PDF, and copy the text it contains. SnapText helps you get text out of anything on your screen. Drag to select any region of a webpage and the text in that area is copied to your clipboard. You can also upload an image or PDF file and process it directly in the extension. Two extraction engines are built in: - Claude Vision for complex layouts, handwriting, tables, and mixed content - A fully offline engine that works without an account or internet connection except first time loading. You can capture the full visible page in one click, browse your last 50 captures in History, edit results before copying, and save text to a .txt file. Privacy: all captures and settings stay on your device. No telemetry, no tracking, no cloud uploads.
