You stay in control of the login. myGSTfiling GST Assistant brings your GST return data from the Government GST portal into your myGSTfiling account — without re-keying anything and without handing your portal password to any server. Built for CAs, tax practitioners and finance teams who already use myGSTfiling to reconcile GST data for their clients. WHAT IT DOES - Downloads GSTR-2B (auto-drafted ITC statement) for any month of any financial year, including large returns that the portal splits into parts. - Downloads GSTR-1 (outward supplies) through the portal's offline JSON route, waits while the portal generates the file, and picks it up when ready. - Downloads live IMS inward-supplies data — always a fresh file, no period selection needed. - Sends everything to your myGSTfiling account in one click, where it lands in the same registers your GSP downloads use, ready for reconciliation. HOW IT WORKS 1. Connect once: click Connect and approve on the myGSTfiling website. No password is ever typed into the extension. 2. Choose a client, a financial year and the returns you want. Tick the periods in the table. 3. Click Start. You log in to the GST portal yourself — the extension fills the User ID and you type the password and CAPTCHA, exactly as you would normally. If you are already signed in to the portal, the download starts straight away. 4. Watch each period go from Downloading to Downloaded, then click Push to send them to myGSTfiling. WHY IT'S SAFE - Your GST portal password is never stored or transmitted anywhere — you typet on the portal's own login page. - The extension does not bypass or solve the portal CAPTCHA. A human logs in. - Everything runs inside your own browser session; no server of ours ever connects to the GST portal on your behalf. - Your myGSTfiling connection is a revocable token, not a password. Log out from the extension any time to revoke it. - Data is only ever sent to your own myGSTfiling account. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising.
