Capture full pages for local editing, or quickly save a selected region. Web Screenshot captures complete webpages and opens the result in a local image studio. You can also select a region on the current page for a quick local download. The extension first warms up lazy-loaded content and prepares fixed or sticky elements. It prefers Chromium's native full-page rendering for a clean result, then automatically falls back to intelligent viewport stitching when native capture is unavailable or the page is exceptionally large. After capture, crop the result and add rectangles, arrows, freehand drawing, highlights, text, or pixelation. Undo, redo, zoom, copy, and export PNG or high-quality JPG without uploading the page. Features: - Native full-page rendering through the browser debugging protocol - Quick selected-region capture and local download - Automatic smart-stitching fallback - Lazy-content warmup and dynamic-page handling - Fixed and sticky element deduplication - Main scrolling-container support - Internal lossless sections for exceptionally tall pages, combined into one PNG on save - Local crop and annotation editor - Fresh light and immersive dark interface styles - PNG or adjustable-quality JPG for a single section; one combined PNG for multiple sections - 12 languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Italian Privacy and safety: - Capture begins only after the user clicks the capture button - The temporary debugging connection is limited to the selected tab - The connection is detached on completion, cancellation, or failure - Screenshots, stitching, editing, clipboard copy, and export happen locally - Page screenshots are never uploaded by the extension - After Save, only export status, size buckets, stage, and restricted error codes are reported; the event payload excludes the page URL, image, and filename - Server access and security logs may record the request IP address, time, endpoint, and status for security and troubleshooting Anonymous daily active usage: After the user starts full-page or region capture or successfully exports an image in the editor, the extension asynchronously sends a daily random anonymous identifier, the tool type, and the Beijing calendar date to https://m3u8.x-tool.online/api/usage/active. It counts active browser installations, rather than identified people; opening the popup does not count. The identifier is never reused across days, and no screenshot, page URL, content, account, cookie, or filename is included. The identifier and successful-report status are kept in local extension storage. A successful report is sent at most once per day; failures can be retried on the next actual use and never block capture. Records are automatically deleted after no more than 365 days and are not used for advertising or profiling.
