Enables Steam login for rustboom.gg by completing the Rust+ companion redirect automatically. RustBoom Login Helper Enables seamless Steam login for https://rustboom.gg — the Rust vending machine tracker — by automatically completing the Rust+ companion redirect that the browser can't handle on its own. How it works When you sign in with Steam on rustboom.gg, Facepunch's companion API issues a redirect using the rust-plus:// custom scheme. Browsers can't open that scheme, so the login would normally fail. This extension intercepts that redirect, extracts your login token, and delivers it back to rustboom.gg — completing sign-in without any extra steps from you. Privacy & security - Only activates on companion-rust.facepunch.com — it has zero access to any other website - Does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data - Does not read your Steam credentials, passwords, or any account information - The login token is passed directly to rustboom.gg, exactly as a native app would receive it - Fully open source — every line of code is publicly auditable Open source This extension is open source and available on GitHub: https://github.com/RustBoom/rustboom-extension You are encouraged to review the source before installing.
