Privacy Verdict helps you understand website privacy policies before you trust a site with your data. It analyzes a site’s privacy policy and turns dense legal text into a clear green, orange, or red verdict. The extension highlights important concerns such as sensitive data collection, third-party sharing, tracking, retention, user rights, and policy transparency. Use it to quickly spot privacy risks, compare websites, and make more informed choices online without reading every privacy policy from start to finish. Privacy Verdict supports configurable AI providers, including cloud providers and local OpenAI-compatible runtimes such as Ollama. Cached verdicts and settings are stored locally in your browser, and the extension does not collect telemetry, analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics.
