Opens every Kick stream at the highest quality instead of Auto — and keeps it when you switch channels. Kick always starts on Auto, and Auto usually settles at 360p or 720p — even when the stream has 1080p60 available. Kick doesn't remember your choice either, so you end up opening the quality menu on every channel, every time. Kick HD does it for you. It picks the highest quality the stream offers, in under half a second, on every channel you open. WHAT IT DOES • Sets every Kick stream to the highest available quality automatically • Keeps working when you switch channels without reloading the page • Optional ceiling: cap it at 1080p, 720p or 480p if you're on limited data • Leaves your manual choice alone — change the quality by hand and it stays changed WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • No account, no sign-up, no setup • No network requests, no analytics, no tracking • One permission (storage), used only to remember your two settings • 25 KB of plain, readable code with no third-party libraries HOW IT WORKS Kick's player exposes no scriptable quality API, so Kick HD selects the quality through the player's own settings menu — the same two clicks you would make yourself, just faster.
