Unofficial extension that replaces Wikipedia's short hover previews with fuller article text from the MediaWiki API. Wikipedia Longer Previews is an unofficial browser extension that replaces Wikipedia’s built-in short hover previews with fuller article previews. When you hover over a link inside a Wikipedia article, the extension fetches more complete article text from Wikipedia’s own MediaWiki API and displays it in a scrollable preview panel. This makes it easier to explore related people, places, concepts, and events without constantly opening new tabs or losing your place in the article you are reading. The extension also includes a simple toolbar toggle, so you can turn longer previews on or off at any time. When turned off, Wikipedia’s default preview behavior is restored.
