This extension replaces your new tab page with a random, breathtaking location from Atlas Obscura, and a minimal display for the weather in your location (Inspired by Chromecast) This project was based on the official Atlas Obscura new tab extension. Important Note: - This is an unofficial, and open source project not built by Atlas Obscura - Permission to publish this community-built was requested from Atlas Obscura :) - It's a reimplementation that doesn't reuse the original source code Improvements over the original: - Built for Speed: Optimized to eliminate "flashes" and lag. - Smooth UI: Staggered animations and a clean, modern layout. - Live Weather: Real-time local weather in the bottom corner.
