Description
Reorder Reddit comments by relevance instead of karma Reddit and Hacker News sort comments by upvotes. But upvotes reward being first and aligning with the echo chamber, not being informative or interesting. We analyzed 66 million comments across 2,147 subreddits and found that the best answer has 1 upvote 32% of the time, while the first comment gets 4x more karma regardless of quality. This extension re-sorts comments by relevance using ZeroEntropy's zerank-2 reranker model. One click and the most useful answers float to the top.
