Extracts product metadata from Amazon listings for PrestaShop administrators. Smiley Importer is a technical utility designed for administrators of PrestaShop e-commerce websites. It streamlines the catalog management process by facilitating the transfer of public product data from Amazon listings directly to a PrestaShop database. CORE FEATURES: - Data Extraction: Extracts Product Title, Retail Price (tax inclusive), and high-resolution image URLs directly from the active Amazon listing. - Size Variation Support: Automatically identifies and extracts available size variants while intentionally excluding color variants to maintain database organization. - Content Sanitization: Extracts "About this item" bullet points and converts them into clean HTML. It automatically removes non-standard CSS or scripts to ensure compatibility with PrestaShop validation rules. - High-Definition Media Management: Identifies original high-resolution image files while automatically filtering out video files and placeholder thumbnails. - Side-Panel Integration: Utilizes the Chrome sidePanel API to provide a persistent interface, allowing users to scan products without losing their browsing context.
