PlayParty.io Watch Together lets you discover video playback on any webpage and instantly create a synchronized watch room to enjoy with friends in real time. KEY FEATURES: • On-Demand Stream Discovery (User-Initiated): Detects HTML5 video, HLS (.m3u8), DASH (.mpd), and MP4 streams only after the user activates the extension on the current tab. • One-Click Room Creation: Instantly opens a synchronized room on PlayParty.io with your selected video. • Real-Time Playback Synchronization: Play, pause, and seek actions are synced across all participants with ultra-low latency. • Integrated Chat & Reactions: Chat with room members, send emoji reactions, and control playback permissions. • Privacy-Focused: Operates strictly on user demand. No video content is downloaded, captured, or redistributed. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Navigate to any webpage with a video you want to watch. 2. Click the PlayParty.io extension icon in your browser toolbar. 3. Select the detected video stream from the list. 4. Click "Watch Together" to launch your synchronized room and invite your friends via room link. PRIVACY & CONTENT POLICY: • PlayParty does NOT host, restream, or download video files. • Video playback occurs directly within each participant's browser from public web sources. • DRM-encrypted streaming services requiring paid proprietary authentication (such as Netflix, Prime Video, or Disney+) are not supported. • All stream metadata stored by the extension is kept in temporary browser session storage and automatically purged when the browser closes.
