Tracks when you last visited your bookmarks and gently resurfaces the ones you saved and forgot. Rediscover the bookmarks you meant to revisit. Shelved keeps track of when your bookmarks were saved and last visited, then gently brings older links back when they may be worth another look. Quick Checks appear in the toolbar, while the full Older bookmarks view gives you a calm place to work through your backlog. Use Shelved to: • See a small, rate-limited set of bookmarks worth revisiting • Open, snooze for three months, dismiss, or delete a reminder • Review the full backlog from options • Choose when a bookmark becomes stale, from one month to two years • Find duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, and links that no longer work • Keep daily local backups for seven days and restore when needed Shelved avoids treating common app shortcuts and homepages as forgotten reading. You can override tracking for individual bookmarks when needed. Existing bookmarks are checked only if you choose to grant the optional history permission. Shelved uses it for targeted visit lookups of URLs already in your bookmarks. It never scans your general browsing history. Without that permission, bookmarks saved after installation are still tracked. Bookmark tracking data, snoozes, preferences, and backups stay in Chrome storage on this device. Your Chrome bookmarks continue to sync normally, but Shelved's own tracking data does not sync between devices.
