Community-picked videos in YouTube, alongside the algorithm or in its place. YouTube has millions of videos. RecoCue helps you find the ones worth it. RecoCue brings community-picked videos into YouTube, alongside the algorithm or in its place. Handpicked, tagged, and surfaced by real people. What RecoCue does: - Shows human-curated cues alongside YouTube or as the full Home feed - Organizes recommendations into categories such as Cars, Home Building, Technology, Gaming, AI, Film, Travel, Finance, Education, Comedy, Sports, Lifestyle, Engineering, and more - Adds a Latest row for recently upvoted community picks - Lets signed-in users recommend, vote on, and report videos when public writes are open - Adds a Recommend button on YouTube Watch pages - Excludes YouTube Shorts during the MVP - Uses community votes and moderation, not YouTube views or likes, for RecoCue ranking RecoCue is moderated against spam, explicit or sexualized content, misleading recommendations, rage-bait, and rabbit-hole content. It is designed to reduce low-signal discovery, not to guarantee that every bad video can be prevented before it appears. Public browsing does not require an account. Google sign-in is required for voting, reporting, recommending videos, and admin tools. RecoCue does not collect YouTube watch history, inspect YouTube subscriptions, modify the YouTube video player, or modify YouTube ads. This first release is an unlisted public beta. Some write actions may remain limited to trusted curators while launch smoke testing and moderation operations are completed.
