Speed control for any video, plus hide Shorts, comments, home feed, and recommended videos on YouTube. YouTube Fast & Clean is a speed controller for any HTML5 video or audio, plus a distraction blocker for YouTube. ⚡ SPEED CONTROL Use an on-page overlay or keyboard shortcuts to set playback from 0.07x to 16x. It works on YouTube, Netflix, Coursera, podcasts, local files, and any other site with a video or audio element. 🎹 Default shortcuts: 🐢 S / 🐇 D — slower / faster ↩️ R — reset to 1x 🚀 G — preferred speed (1.8x by default) ⏪ Z / ⏩ X — rewind / skip 10 seconds 👁️ V — show or hide the overlay 📍 M / 🎯 J — set a marker and jump back 🖱️ The overlay is draggable. Double-click the speed badge to reset. Mouse wheel changes speed after you hover the controller. Clean YouTube is independent from the speed controller, so you can use either or both. 🎯 SITE RULES Force a default speed on lecture sites, or disable the overlay on domains where you do not want it.
